Tulum was excellent, but I would change the order of visits to Chichen Itza; we spent too much time in the cenote and too little in Chichen Itza.

Very good, although a bit long, because I would remove the visit to Valladolid as it's long and you don't really do much. Otherwise, excellent.

Chichén Itzá & Tulum 2-Day Combo Tour

Day 1: Xunáan Cenote - Chichén Itzá - Valladolid

Between 7:15 am and 9:20 am on the first morning, we'll pick you up from Riviera Maya and head to the Xunáan Cenote. Reaching this beautiful natural pool after a two-hour drive, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water! We'll also indulge in a delicious buffet-style lunch here.

After eating, we'll head to one of the highlights of our tour: the Chichén Itzá archaeological site. On our two-hour tour of this incredible historical complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important monuments on the peninsula, we'll learn all about its ancient structures: the Kukulcán pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the Mayan ball game field and much more.

Following our tour of Chichén Itzá, we'll make a brief stop in Valladolid to admire the city's colonial architecture and the San Servacio Church before heading back to hotels in Riviera Maya for around 8:30 pm.

Day 2: Tulum - Nohoc Cenote

Having picked you up from your hotel on the second morning, we'll make our way to the Tulum archaeological site, located a two-hour drive away.

We'll spend two hours enjoying a guided tour of this ancient walled city, discovering its fascinating history and admiring the spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea from Tulum's clifftop vantage point.

After delving into Mayan history at Tulum, we'll head to our next stop: the Nohoc Cenote. Here you'll have an hour of free time to bathe in the natural pool before we sit down to another buffet-style lunch. You're sure to fall in love with the stunning natural landscapes surrounding the pools.

At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel after an incredible 12 to 14-hour adventure.

Why Book this Tour?

This option will allow you to visit the main Mayan sites in the Yucatan in the morning, so you'll avoid the hottest and most crowded times of the day. You'll also skip the queues that usually form at the entrance to both historical sites.
